Gulf Air confirms seasonal flights from Milan to Geneva and Nice for summer 2026
The Bahraini flag carrier strengthens its European leisure network via Milan Malpensa
Gulf Air has confirmed the return of its seasonal services between Milan and two key European summer destinations, Geneva and Nice, also for the summer 2026 season. The flights, operated via Milan Malpensa, are already available for booking and are primarily aimed at leisure travelers and families heading to Europe.
Seasonal operations: dates and frequencies
Flights to Nice will start on 24 May 2026 and run until 27 September, while services to Geneva will operate from 5 June until 11 September 2026. Both routes will be served twice weekly using Airbus A321neo aircraft, offering convenient early-morning arrivals in Europe.
The seasonal services are part of Gulf Air’s broader summer schedule and are designed to strengthen connectivity between Europe and the Middle East via Bahrain International Airport. The reinstatement of these routes provides travelers from Bahrain and across the GCC with more choice during the peak summer travel season, supported by reliable schedules and consistent service standards.
CEO comments
Commenting on the announcement, Gulf Air CEO Martin Gauss highlighted that Europe remains a preferred summer destination for passengers from Bahrain and the region. The return of Geneva and Nice allows the airline to align its network with seasonal demand while offering convenient timings, dependable service and access to two highly sought-after destinations.
Bookings now open
Tickets are now available through gulfair.com, the Gulf Air mobile app, the airline’s Contact Centre and travel agencies. With this move, Gulf Air continues to fine-tune its seasonal network strategy, adapting capacity to match market demand and customer preferences.
